WOWOW NORWAY. Such an amazing week. More than amazing to say the least. I have learned a lot and grown a lot and experienced a lot. I am becoming obsessed with this place.

1- We went on a drive all up and down the West coast of Norway with Ingebjørg. 10/10 reccomend. It was awesome. We ate soup in the place where she grew up and visited her cabin and saw so many beautiful things. WOW. She is awesome. The best part was getting to talk with her about life. I want to be like her.
2- We celebrated Halloween with a few members. We trick or treated (which a few poeple do in Norway) and knocked on her door. We dressed up as eachother which was pretty fun. We went inside and hung out a little bit. We also watched a movie with a member family and Tanita so that was way fun. I did not eat that much candy..blessings.
3- On the bus home one night I was distracted because I saw our bus drive past that we needed to switch to. I was so busy thinkin about it that when a man sat down next to me i was only 1/2 in the conversation. He asked me if I was studying I told him no, Im a missionary. I kept thinking about the bus situation and he like kind of yelled at me and was like "Well are you going to invite to church? I am very interested!" I was still distracted and was like oh yeah you can come if you want. It took me like four minutes to realize how unreal it was that he said that! I looked at him and got his number and chatted with him about church for a little bit. Sadly, the conversation ended by him telling me how beautiful I am so I do not think he was actually interested in church. It was cool for a few minutes though haha.
4- Thursday was such an awesome day because I got to talk about science and medical stuff and psychology in norwegian with a bunch of different people. It was definitely a little tender mercy. I loved it. I love learning. WOW.
5- We have this investiagtor who calls us her sisters. She is super sweet and she asked us to help her with english. I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT HAVE TO LEARN ENGLISH. Norwegian is waaaayyy easier haha.
6-President and Søster Hill came this weekend. IT WAS AWESOME. It was sooo cool to have them take us around norway and just chat with them. They asked us if they could meet one of our investiagors who lives about 2 hours away.
We drove out to teach him and we were SO NERVOUS! We are two barely-done-training missionaries who have to teach an investigator in norwegain in front of our mission president!! The good news is, it went awesome. Willem literally begged president hill to let us stay in haugesund and teach him forever. Here are President Hill's words on the story (that he sent to all of the missioanries in Norway): " This weekend we visited Haugesund. Together with Sister Horrocks and Sister Wheeler, we traveled inland to the small village of Sauda to teach one of their investigators, an elderly man. As the lesson proceeded, we observed the Spirit "direct both the missionaries and those being taught." At the conclusion of the lesson, the investigator looked straight at me and declared, "these missionaries speak straight to my heart. When they teach me, I am able to understand." The combination of preparation, prayer, and vigorous effort to learn Norwegian combined to make the lesson successful. And when those three things are in place, the Spirit is present and able to magnify our abilities. It was wonderful."
So that was really special. It was also way funny because when we called Willem and told him that our mission president was going to be at his house, he literally froze and started crying. He was all "I never would have dreamed that my he would come to visit me." We soon found out that he tought we were talking about the president of the USA. He was still just as touched that President Hill would come visit him.
7- I got interviewed by President Hill on sunday morning and got a blessing. It was the coolest experience of my life. Best hour I have ever lived.
8- In church Tanita bore her testimony, she is so cute. She got up there and talked about how she forgot to fast but how we are all probably a lot better than her at fasting. She pulled out the old testament, read a scripture and then said, "I do not know what that scripture means, but at least I know I have jesus". HA okay maybe you had to be there, but wow it melted my heart into 1000 pieces.
9-We all went and ate dinner at Ingebjørgs house after church...there were a few members and the Hills and us. It was so cozy. i love it. Walking back to the bus stop with everyone in the rainy dark 5pm night was the best, happiest feeling I have ever felt. I have a lot of those moments though.
Norway. I love you.
