A lot happened this week. A LOT. It is one of the most puzzling things about a mission...how can I experience a month's worth of experiences in just one week? I do not know. But I am definteily experiencing life.
1-We went to djupadalen with Sarah for pday. We got to her house and she had a HUGE lunch made. wooowww lucky us. We walked to the lake and swung on the swing and fed ducks and etc. It was so fun. The fall leaves were really pretty-reminded me of home of course. When we got back to her house she gave a bag--in the bag was a USU shirt she bought for me in utah! YES. She also gave us a huuuge wall clock haha.
2-BERGEN. We went to Bergen for zone conference and splits. It was so fun! We took the clock with us. I do not really know why. We thought it was funny. It ended up just being a huge heavy clock we had to carry around hahaha. oops.
But, not only did I meet a lot of cool people, but most of my MTC group was there. Of course, it would not be zone conference if I did not rap in the middle of a circle of missionaries who were all throwing out beats. haha. it is so fun. this time I wrote a rap about one of the elders because I am trying to get him to design me a beat. he writes electro music and made a fortune off his youtube channel before his mission. Hopefully it works hahaha. we are going to be famous together.

3-BAPTISM. Our branch presidents daughter got baptized on friday night. in a fjord. in freezing water. in the dark. It was so fun. THey had a huge bonfire with chili and pølsers and marshmallows and smågodt. It was honestly a hoot and a half. I was surrounded by so many people I love doing the most cozy thing. It was special. Also aside from the fact that it was not our investigator, we lived the norwegain missionary dream....someone getting baptized in a fjord! wohoo. OH and it was so funny because we were running late so kjartan was driving like a madman. it was hilarious hahhaa. good mems.
4-We went to Jens' wife's birthday party on saturday. It was sooooo fun. She is 60 and philipino so of course we ate a ton of food.
There was a ton of karaoke and that was so fun to hear and be a part of. I feel like karaoke is a staple of Haugesund gren. love it.

5-Sunday was awesome because we ate dinner at a members house, went to a cake party for Idas baptism, and then were fed dinner by an investigator. HAH so much food but what are ya gonna do? when you are in norway you gotta enjoy the food.
6-It has been really cool because God is really letting me experience a lot of different things in life. This past week two of our investigators told us that they are very depresed and suicidal and that we are angels from God sent to them. That has been pretty special to chat about with them. It is a huge eye opener to not only experience the things Norway has to offer but to also help other people through their experiences.
I am definitely growing a lot. Life keeps going. HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
