t was an awesome week. We had a lot of success which was fun, but we also just had a hoot with everything we did. #ripSøsterWheeler

OH YA BIG NEWS: I am staying in Haugesund and Søster Wheeler is moving back to Bergen! My new companion is awesome I hear..she is my same misson age but she served a transfer in Canada before she entered the MTC plus she is Søster Earls comp right now!! So that is fun. Little bubble of love.
Other than that, here is the basic throw down of the week:
1-Louis is the dopest fella in the world. He lives in Stavanger and he is investigating the church. A few weeks ago I rapped for him and he promised to paint me a painting in exchange. He finally gave it to me last monday night and I was SO HYPED. LOL BUT HE JUST BOUGHT THIS OLD CRAPPY PAINTING FROM FRETEX SO SAD. My heart was broken.
2-The hair cuts we got last week were 720 kroner aka like 80 dollars. HAHA that is why our mission is the most expensive in the world, we get funded a lot of money from the church for hair cuts haha. we live off 100 dollars a week. INSANE. THAT IS SO MUCH MONEY.
3- We got a baptismal date with one of our investigators, we had four investigators in church and we got two new investigators last week so that was awesome. It was definitely very fun to report the success we had. I love it here in Haugesund.
4- Elder Braunberger wrote me a song. #blessed. It was awesome. I will try and attach it. I asked him to write me one- like a theme song thing- in exchange for a rap so he delivered. It was so much fun to hear what he created for me. All of the missionaries were knodding their heads in agreement with the words. It describes the norwegian mission perfectly.
5- We went and visited this old couple whose house we clean sometimes. It was awesome. She was convinced that she had magical healing powers and could tell if things that we had on our bodies were good for us or not. basically to sum it up i have electrical tape all over al of my jewelery and i have all of the tags clipped off of my clothes. (those are solutions to pain or something haha) it was fun.
6- A member in Haugesund knitted me and søster wheeler mittens in TWO DAYS. It was awesome. they are the beesst.
7- We went to our investigators house and she gave us four cornrows for FOUR MONTHS IN THE LAND. it was way fun.
8- celebrated thanksgiving at the branch president's house with a lot of members. the food was AWESOME. they only had one pie though so that was a little different from our thanksgivings.
9- We went and got sushi with a less active on saturday. It was super yummy. Sushi is one of the only cheap things in norway. I love it soooo much
But yeah, A lot happened this week but we gotta scoot and gå på tur. takk for pratten. dere er topp!

woohoo one week closer till norway!! Jeg er så spente for norge! Jeg tenke at Norge skall være kjempe flott. Og jeg kan ikke vente å snakke med norfolk fordi jeg har mye kjærlighet for dem. lol i cannot think of anything else to say. not a ton of things happened this week, but it was still fun! I am obsessed w my mission. 1-We were teaching Erelend (the investigator(brother leighton) that made us cry) again and we were teaching him about the book of mormon/holy ghost and he told us that he finished the book of mormon and prayed but didn't get an answer but as soon as he said amen his friend called him and told him he should read the book of mormon again and slower (since he was reading like 50 pages a day) and see what god would have him learn. We told him that that was an answer to his prayer. but he said he didn't want to pray again because he felt like an idiot since god did not answer him with the answer he was expecting. WOWOW NORWAY. Such an amazing week. More than amazing to say the least. I have learned a lot and grown a lot and experienced a lot. I am becoming obsessed with this place. 1- We went on a drive all up and down the West coast of Norway with Ingebjørg. 10/10 reccomend. It was awesome. We ate soup in the place where she grew up and visited her cabin and saw so many beautiful things. WOW. She is awesome. The best part was getting to talk with her about life. I want to be like her. 2- We celebrated Halloween with a few members. We trick or treated (which a few poeple do in Norway) and knocked on her door. We dressed up as eachother which was pretty fun. We went inside and hung out a little bit. We also watched a movie with a member family and Tanita so that was way fun. I did not eat that much candy..blessings. 3- On the bus home one night I was distracted because I saw our bus drive past that we needed to switch to. Hallo! LOL my norske is so good. Im not even kidding. Classes are way fun and I love it.  On friday  we had to teach our first investigator in Norwegian. It was super hard and I cried forever after it (so did everyone else). But all of our teachers were like CALM DOWN ITS ONLY THE SECOND REAL DAY! but we were just so discouraged haha because i think we all thought that the gift of tongues was an all or nothing thing so we all got way scared that we were not worthy or something hahaha. But now I can write almost all of my journal entries in norske and i can say all of my prayers fluently in norske. I can also understand almost everything my teachers say. - speaking of my teachers, my favorite teacher is Bro. Leighton. HE IS A BRITISH ELDER JOBEAR. THEY LITERALLY LOOK SIMILAR AND HIS ACCENT IS SO FUN. So we are kind of learning british norske but it is fun.
