This week was the weirdest week of my entire mission. Almost nothing went as planned haha. We have a saying now though, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." He laughed a lot this week.

1- FIRST AND FOREMOST: god answers prayers. transfers are this week and I GET TO STAY IN HAUGESUND. and not only that but, SØSTER WHEELER IS MY NEW COMPANION. and not only that but, ONE OF THE ELDERS FROM THE MTC IS OUR DISTRICT TOO. It is going to be so much fun. all weekend I prayed for these exact people to come here, and WOW. they did. it literally is too good to be true.
2- We went on a ferry ride with our whole district last monday in stavanger. we all bought a ton of smågodt (norwegian candy) and hopped on the boat. It was a four hour ride up a fjord where we saw prekestolen, rainbows, waterfalls, cities, and amazing mountains. The weather was POURING RAIN and SO WINDY. We refused to not be outside though. It was so funny
because we could try our hardest to fall forward and we could not even fall. The pics are incredible. enjoy them.
3-We went bowling for FHE in stavanger. I promised Louis that I would write a rap for him if he painted me something. I performed the rap at the bowling alley while he put out a beat for me. It was so fun. Even as I walked up the church all of the YSA in stavanger were like "no way its the rapper missionary" it was so fun. here is my rap:

Yo its søster sixpac out here on a mission
spreading some joy is my only commission
read the scriptures daily to fuel my ambition
but seeing people smile has become an addiction
said HADDE to my fam in the USA
hopped on a plane now im here in norway
best decision ive ever made,
cause the fam ive gained here-they an A+ grade
folkens in haugesund and here in stavanger
they so chill wish i could stay a little longer
learned some lessons thatve made me stronger
and made some mems that couldnt be fonder
louis at the paintbrush and me at the mic
people say to chill, but they can take a hike
cause we so flink, got no hands on the bike
theres more to this rap. ha ha. wait. PSYCH.
4-We traveled back to haugesund after our trip to stavanger. It was delayed by over two hours!! I was so tired because we stayed up late chatting with the søsters. But there was a boy sitting next to me, so i decided to chat with him. I talked to him for over an hour about everything there is to talk about. I learned so much! It was so cool to connect with him. worth the sacrifice of sleep. I hope I see him again.
5- We visited a lady that night who invited us over. She was taught by the søster missionaries in 1991!! She still has everything they gave her and pictures of them. she has newspaper clippings about them. It was so cool. We gave her a new book of mormon and she almost started crying. She made us waffles and gave us things she had crocheted for us after she met us on the street. wow. so special.
6- We ran into a former investigator while we were on the street. (we actually ran into all of our formeers this week...blessings!!) She had been really tied down in her addictions, but was finally up again. She invited us to come over to her house! We did, and it was the best lesson ever. She is so loving and so nice. I love her so much. We taught her the plan of salvation by singing I am a child of God. She texted us that night and told us that she had been singing I am a child of God all day long and only remembered the tune sometimes. It was really cool to teach her the song, and even cooler to see how it helped her after we left.
7- While we were at Tanita's house, she asked if I could help her adopt a dog from the humane society where I volunteered. I told her that it probably would not be possible, but she insisted. It was so funny. She tried to call them to ask them to ship one to norway. It was definitely one of the funniest experiences i have had on my mission.
8- I met with a lady who talked to me about my mission. While i met with her, she quoted my patriarchal blessing like 4 times. She said so many things that were amazing. She told me that my mission is not interuppting my education, but that it is facilitating it. She told me that God is opening and closing doors so that i end up with what I really want, what i came here to gain and experience - even if i cannot remember what that is right now. Wow. talk about perspective. We all have things we decided we wanted to gain while we were on earth. We all made a plan with God so that we could experience it. And now, here we are, being led to fulfill our plan, even if right now it seems crazy that we ever would have wanted this for ourselves.
9- We met a lot of families and cool potentials to start teaching this week. I am excited...but nervous because me and søster wheelers norwegian will make it a little challenging haha. i hope people will still talk to us in norwegian and not switch to english.
10- the best thing i learned this week is from a member. After talking about all the trials and things he has been through, he looked at me and said, "we only count blessings." WOW. he explained taht there is no reason to count anything other than blessings. he is right.
That is it. Have a good week. Remember to read your scrips daily and choose the right.
