Every single time me and søster earl needed a little unifying this week, god helped us out. He would place a HUGE spider somewhere in our vision and then wait for us to work together to kill it
. He is a wise man. Every time after we killed the spiders, we could not help but laugh and call all of the missionaries in our district and tell them about our feat. I think it is interesting how motstand brings people together. While spiders are a very prevelant enemy in our lives, here is what happened while we were out fighting the more eminent evil:
1-We visited this viking church on a viking island last monday. How lucky are we? It was very special and we found a lot of wildlife (like this jellyfish). There are a ton of legends with this church and land. It is so fun to learn about them.
2- We took the ferry to stavanger, that was very fun! I love taking the ferry. While we were in stavanger for zone conference, søster earl told some members that I could rap. OOPS. The next thing we knew, there were like 26 people standing in a circle around me putting out beats and cat calling me to rap to. I was SO embarassed. Plus Søster Gormley was trying to urge me to rap in a very kim player-like way (saying rhymes while clapping). It was so funny. I did not do it haha. I promised a rap when I came again, but there were too many high up mission leaders (even president hill) and it just did not seem like a real missionary thing to do. But they are having a talent show for fhe soon, so i will perform if i am down there.
3-I had to say goodbye to søster wheeler for maybe the rest of my mission. I bawled my eyes out. It was so sad haha. but how lucky am i to already miss someone so much? that means that god gave me someone else to love so much.
4-I interviewed with president and he said that the change he sees in me is unbelievable. I do not feel like it is that different. But hey, still cool. He told me, "You be kind to yourself. You be here. You be now. You enjoy this experience." HES RIGHT. I love his counsel...(also very excited for general conference).
5- We had a ton of lessons planned for last week, and they all canceled!! We call that getting kebabed (bbecause you are supposed to buy a kebab every time you get canceled on). We would have gotten very fat haha. But luckily there is a family here in haugesund that at least let us practice one of our lessons with them..so we could at least pretend like we taught one. It was so fun. I love the members here.
6- We had been banking for a few hours when our branch presidents wife called us and said, "Where in the world are you sisters?" She invited us to her sons birthday party at her school. We ran there and ate some of the best cake i have ever eaten. Once again, I love the members here.
7- We ate at Sarahs house three times in a row this week!! We had dinner at her house, and then we had a missionary meeting at her house with food, and then we surprised her with lunch at her house because we had a lesson there, and then we ate with her after church. She is the coolest. She is in utah for a while now so if anyone sees here, give her ANYTHING!! She packed her fridge full of meals for us to eat while she is gone. She is the best. We talked to her about her life and asked her if she has ever doubted gods plan for her. She said no. We asked her why. She said that if you understand the gospel you just dont. You know it is all temporary. You cannot force anything. It just comes. The blessings come. WOW. profound. the members here are awesome.
8- We played indoor norwegian soccer at sport. It was so much fun. I laughed almost the whole time. Norwegians are so good at playing sports, i get beat by 40 year olds all of the time. It is so so so fun. I cannot wait to go to a real salt lake game now, so fun.
9-We knocked 13 floors on a building again, only two people talked to us. HAHA. It was so fun though. My body hurt, but my pride was still intact.
10-We watched womens conference with tanita. So special. We also made apple cake with her. She is such a cute member here in haugesund. Womens conference was so fun, it was so 
interesting how everyone focused on our value and our relationship with our heavenly father.
11- We went on a hike on åkre beach with Ingebjørg today. It was so fun!! I want to be like her so much. The sun was out which was very special!!!
12- ALSO WOW. GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. remember that boy from texas that i did not talk to a few weeks ago? As i was on the bus today i looked out the window and saw him! I hopped off at the next spot and ran up to him and just apologized and apologized. He was so nice. It felt so good to do that.
This week was very special. It is getting colder, but more than that is that it is getting darker. I am very scared of that. Lead Kindly Light is beginning to be more and more real to me. The first verse makes me cry all the time haha (we also sang that acapella in church on sunday). But wow. Life is good nonetheless. God cannot give me an easy day because he cannot afford for me to drift through this. He needs me to be here and now. Okay. I understand. Have a good week all of you. Hallo! LOL my norske is so good. Im not even kidding. Classes are way fun and I love it.  On friday  we had to teach our first investigator in Norwegian. It was super hard and I cried forever after it (so did everyone else). But all of our teachers were like CALM DOWN ITS ONLY THE SECOND REAL DAY! but we were just so discouraged haha because i think we all thought that the gift of tongues was an all or nothing thing so we all got way scared that we were not worthy or something hahaha. But now I can write almost all of my journal entries in norske and i can say all of my prayers fluently in norske. I can also understand almost everything my teachers say. - speaking of my teachers, my favorite teacher is Bro. Leighton. HE IS A BRITISH ELDER JOBEAR. THEY LITERALLY LOOK SIMILAR AND HIS ACCENT IS SO FUN. So we are kind of learning british norske but it is fun. Family. This week has been quite the week. A lot of emotions. A lot of thought. A lot of a lot of things. 1- I am so homesick. Like super homesick. I went from only crying in the shower to crying all the time haha. We were at dinner at a members house and her friends asked if i was homesick and i could not choke back the tears haha. I have cried at 3 members houses so far and at one investigators house. That is cool. But i got a blessing from my branch president and he blessed me that I would know that while my family at home loves me so much, and while i am so lucky to have a family that i miss, now is not their time. It is my branches time to be my family and love me, but more importantly it is my time to rely on my brother who perfectly knows how to help me. I am grateful to have Jesus Christ in my life. I love to read my scriptures about him. I do not even drink water during personal study because I do not want to waste any time getting closer to him. It is crazy how i feel lik...

This week was the weirdest week of my entire mission. Almost nothing went as planned haha. We have a saying now though, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." He laughed a lot this week.  1- FIRST AND FOREMOST: god answers prayers. transfers are this week and I GET TO STAY IN HAUGESUND. and not only that but, SØSTER WHEELER IS MY NEW COMPANION. and not only that but, ONE OF THE ELDERS FROM THE MTC IS OUR DISTRICT TOO. It is going to be so much fun. all weekend I prayed for these exact people to come here, and WOW. they did. it literally is too good to be true.  2- We went on a ferry ride with our whole district last monday in stavanger. we all bought a ton of smågodt (norwegian candy) and hopped on the boat.
