This week was the most fun, but hardest week I have had. I guess it goes to show that God is a just god and everything comes in balance. Wow i am sitting in a library hearing people speak the most beautiful language ever...i just realized that. i am very lucky.

1- We hiked Sigjo or something last monday night with 3 branch members. it was so fun. everyone was complaining abouthow foggy and cold it was, but I thought it made it the perfect norwegian experience. it was honestly beautiful. I was obsessed with every single step. it was also funny because everyone was taking selfies non stop, but i couldnt so i would just selfie bomb. lolol.
2- knocking doors in norway is absolutely crazy. you never know where the front door is and sometimes people just open their window and talk to you through that!! or sometimes you have doorbells that are just to high to even be real. but yesterday we knocked on this guys door and he opened it and said "HANGOVVVVEERR. A BAD ONE!" so I just started talking to him about
his t shirt and video games and told him how my brothers love video games and stuff and I told him that we have a message that bring him even more happiniess than video games could. and he was all "THIS IS SO SURREAL RIGHT NOW. YOU GUYS JUST CAME KNOCKING ON MY DOOR TO GIVE ME......HAPPINESS!? THANKS FOR THAT!" we gave him our card and told him if he ever needed more happiness to just call us. but that was really funny hahaha. I also had my first door slammed on me. so that was fun. we also banked on a 13 story apartment building. it took forever. no one was interested. so much for fourth floor last door lol. 13th floor, last door. still no one. but it was fun to bank so many doors in one day. hopefully that perseverance reaps some miracles.
3- I was on the bus and tried asking this lady a language question. she just looked at me and said "I believe in Jesus. I follow him. I trust him!" and stormed off the bus. hahaha. oops. i am glad she believes in Jesus though. that is a good thing.
4- At church we had 13 people there. Jens leaned over to søster earl and said, "13 people. just like Jesus and his 12 apostles" lol that was so funny for some reason.
5- we got to eat dinner at Ingebjørgs house. She is the coolest norwegian lady. I look up to her so much. I talked to her for forever while she made dinner for everyone that came to church. I hope I can become like her...she is honestly WOW. She is so assertive, kind, adventurous, strong, smart, independent, and has a real talent at bringing people together and lifting people up. She is incredible. and her food is so yummy. Kikelig norwegian..kjøt kaker, potatoes, peas, sauce, ice cream. Norwegians eat ice cream every day no matter the weather. they are crazy over Is.
6- Sport was cool this week. me and søster earl thought we would have to cancel it because everyone was gone on vacation, but I had hope. we had the biggest turn out ever!! we played dodgeball, volleyball, and basketball. it was so much fun. we even had a non member show up. I almost peed my pants i was lauging so hard. 
7- we missed so many buses this week it was unreal. we were on an island that was like 3 miles from the bus stop and we realized our bus left in 30 minutes. we ran in our heels and dresses trhough rain to make our bus. the whole 3 miles. uphill, over a bridge, crossing fields. we made it. wohoo. but that is pretty much the story of me and søster earl. i am so lucky to have her as my comp. we have it good together.
That is all that really happened. it was such a fun week. It was sooooo hard though. At times I was so set on just coming home. It would be so nice to nap and eat cheetos and watch netflix and snuggle my parents and hang with amari. But I would never pay for a track camp that I knew would not push me to better, so why would I set out on a mission that would not push me to grow and become more than I have ever dreamed? Very special experience I have. Once in a life time. Just gotta hang in there yanno. Other people have done it. I can do it too. I will do it. :-)

Hallo! LOL my norske is so good. Im not even kidding. Classes are way fun and I love it.  On friday  we had to teach our first investigator in Norwegian. It was super hard and I cried forever after it (so did everyone else). But all of our teachers were like CALM DOWN ITS ONLY THE SECOND REAL DAY! but we were just so discouraged haha because i think we all thought that the gift of tongues was an all or nothing thing so we all got way scared that we were not worthy or something hahaha. But now I can write almost all of my journal entries in norske and i can say all of my prayers fluently in norske. I can also understand almost everything my teachers say. - speaking of my teachers, my favorite teacher is Bro. Leighton. HE IS A BRITISH ELDER JOBEAR. THEY LITERALLY LOOK SIMILAR AND HIS ACCENT IS SO FUN. So we are kind of learning british norske but it is fun. Family. This week has been quite the week. A lot of emotions. A lot of thought. A lot of a lot of things. 1- I am so homesick. Like super homesick. I went from only crying in the shower to crying all the time haha. We were at dinner at a members house and her friends asked if i was homesick and i could not choke back the tears haha. I have cried at 3 members houses so far and at one investigators house. That is cool. But i got a blessing from my branch president and he blessed me that I would know that while my family at home loves me so much, and while i am so lucky to have a family that i miss, now is not their time. It is my branches time to be my family and love me, but more importantly it is my time to rely on my brother who perfectly knows how to help me. I am grateful to have Jesus Christ in my life. I love to read my scriptures about him. I do not even drink water during personal study because I do not want to waste any time getting closer to him. It is crazy how i feel lik...

This week was the weirdest week of my entire mission. Almost nothing went as planned haha. We have a saying now though, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." He laughed a lot this week.  1- FIRST AND FOREMOST: god answers prayers. transfers are this week and I GET TO STAY IN HAUGESUND. and not only that but, SØSTER WHEELER IS MY NEW COMPANION. and not only that but, ONE OF THE ELDERS FROM THE MTC IS OUR DISTRICT TOO. It is going to be so much fun. all weekend I prayed for these exact people to come here, and WOW. they did. it literally is too good to be true.  2- We went on a ferry ride with our whole district last monday in stavanger. we all bought a ton of smågodt (norwegian candy) and hopped on the boat.
