Hyggelig å treffe deg!

My last week in the MTC has been nothing but a dream. I am obsessed with it and so sad to leave. (also so incredibly excited to leave too though) We will go in order of not spiritual to spiritual.


1- In volleyball yesterday Eldste Lee (who plays club volleyball) spiked the volleyball and it hit me directly on my adams apple. It hurt so bad lol I did not cry though. I had to look tough. But I got super dizzy and junk. I was going to go talk to someone about it but another sister got hit in the face and got a concussion so I did not want to be a copycat lmao. Also I ended up playing on a court with all Samoan Elders who only speak samoan so everytime I would say something they would all just copycat whatever I said. It was pretty funny. I enjoyed it a lot.
2- This morning I went to do laundry right after I showered and an Elder from my zone came up to me and said, ¨So are you going to give me your email or am I going to have to steal it from ya?" (as he grabbed my card that said my first and last name on it) LOL such a great time at the mtc. It was funny.
3- For TRCs yesterday we had to skype a swedish boy because no norwegian members would pick up. (waa waa) but it is okay. So we taught a swedish guy in norwegian and he spoke swedish and it was cool because we could all understand eachother. furthermore, I am going to have a hard time in norway if all scandanavians look like that. He just got back from his mission in Las Vegas and honestly was the most attractive boy me and my companion have ever seen. HAHA RIP. I do not know if i will be attracted to american boys after my mission. jk idc im just saying. I told him that after my mission I was going to go back to norway and he told me I need to see the rest of scandanavia so that is what I will do. I also told him a joke i made up in norwegian and he told me I had the meaning of the word wrong so it wasnt funny lol. Blessed to have such a nice young man as my teacher. (name is mikael gustafsson if you want to facebook stalk him)
4-I am learning to play the violin jk I can not even get a sound out of it. I will need a lot of practice. I have decided the cello is a better fit for me though rip.
5- I held a mini rap concert on the patio of a building. I performed 2 songs and the crowds (of a few random elders, sisters, and my companion) went wild. LOL i do not want to leave bc I am famous. :(((
6- I was walking through the cafeteria and the sleeve of my shirt got caught on a coat rack and i dropped my tray. Pretty embarrassing. 
7- I was in class and it was our last time teaching Erelend. I told Bro. Leighton that I was sad and he just looked at me and said, ¨You ought to get used to that.¨ RIP. I guess in Norway even if you have an investigator who wants to get baptized, the members are selective on who they will let get baptized. Pray for them for me!!💞
8- We got our flight plans, we fly from SLC to Amsterdam monday afternoon and then from Amsterdam to Norway tuesday morning. 
9- The wakefields are in the pic of me sister wheeler and two old people. They are the coolest mtc grandparents and they have a grandson in Norway right now. We have been having them send Eldste Wakefield pictures of us every week so he can be ready for us haha. Apparently his dad is rich and he wants to be a doctor. Grandma Wakefield is pushing for me, she also said she would fly me out to NYC when I get back because she has always been dying to go and her husband does not want to.
10- We taught Helene for the last time. It was really cool because the spirit was so strong and me and søster mumford were so in tune. It was amazing. She commited to baptism (even though she is fake) but it was still exciting.
11- Think about this quote I have been thinking about it a lot lately and it has opened my mind up a ton. - ¨I would not give a fig for the simplicity on this side of complexity, but I would give my life for the simplicity on the other side of complexity.¨
That is all I really feel like writing haha. Sorry. I will be in norway soon and I just want to do that noooowww. I love you all. I will talk to you next week!!

Hallo! LOL my norske is so good. Im not even kidding. Classes are way fun and I love it.  On friday  we had to teach our first investigator in Norwegian. It was super hard and I cried forever after it (so did everyone else). But all of our teachers were like CALM DOWN ITS ONLY THE SECOND REAL DAY! but we were just so discouraged haha because i think we all thought that the gift of tongues was an all or nothing thing so we all got way scared that we were not worthy or something hahaha. But now I can write almost all of my journal entries in norske and i can say all of my prayers fluently in norske. I can also understand almost everything my teachers say. - speaking of my teachers, my favorite teacher is Bro. Leighton. HE IS A BRITISH ELDER JOBEAR. THEY LITERALLY LOOK SIMILAR AND HIS ACCENT IS SO FUN. So we are kind of learning british norske but it is fun. Family. This week has been quite the week. A lot of emotions. A lot of thought. A lot of a lot of things. 1- I am so homesick. Like super homesick. I went from only crying in the shower to crying all the time haha. We were at dinner at a members house and her friends asked if i was homesick and i could not choke back the tears haha. I have cried at 3 members houses so far and at one investigators house. That is cool. But i got a blessing from my branch president and he blessed me that I would know that while my family at home loves me so much, and while i am so lucky to have a family that i miss, now is not their time. It is my branches time to be my family and love me, but more importantly it is my time to rely on my brother who perfectly knows how to help me. I am grateful to have Jesus Christ in my life. I love to read my scriptures about him. I do not even drink water during personal study because I do not want to waste any time getting closer to him. It is crazy how i feel lik...

This week was the weirdest week of my entire mission. Almost nothing went as planned haha. We have a saying now though, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." He laughed a lot this week.  1- FIRST AND FOREMOST: god answers prayers. transfers are this week and I GET TO STAY IN HAUGESUND. and not only that but, SØSTER WHEELER IS MY NEW COMPANION. and not only that but, ONE OF THE ELDERS FROM THE MTC IS OUR DISTRICT TOO. It is going to be so much fun. all weekend I prayed for these exact people to come here, and WOW. they did. it literally is too good to be true.  2- We went on a ferry ride with our whole district last monday in stavanger. we all bought a ton of smågodt (norwegian candy) and hopped on the boat.
