Sister Abbey Horrocks

OKAY HALLO! This week was definitely a weird one haha. I have been soooo up and down with my feelings. Some minutes i am stoked to be here and other moments i feel totally inadequate to be here. But you will here about both of those. 1.  on thursday  night our "fake" investigator dumped us and that sucked a ton. But it was whatevs. But  on saturday  night Bro. Leighton's "ereland" (thats his fake name) was so rude to us. We went in to teach him and he literally was so smart-aliky (idk how to spell that). He kept asking us if we even spoke norwegian and just gave us the "real authentic version of how its going to be when people don't accept the gospel." But it sucked. I literally cried so hard that night that my nose started bleeding because i felt so discouraged. luckily i got to talk to Soster Svendsen (in branch presidency) and President Coombs the next day. I also got a blessing from all of the elders in my district and that was super cool...

Hallo! LOL my norske is so good. Im not even kidding. Classes are way fun and I love it.  On friday  we had to teach our first investigator in Norwegian. It was super hard and I cried forever after it (so did everyone else). But all of our teachers were like CALM DOWN ITS ONLY THE SECOND REAL DAY! but we were just so discouraged haha because i think we all thought that the gift of tongues was an all or nothing thing so we all got way scared that we were not worthy or something hahaha. But now I can write almost all of my journal entries in norske and i can say all of my prayers fluently in norske. I can also understand almost everything my teachers say. - speaking of my teachers, my favorite teacher is Bro. Leighton. HE IS A BRITISH ELDER JOBEAR. THEY LITERALLY LOOK SIMILAR AND HIS ACCENT IS SO FUN. So we are kind of learning british norske but it is fun. MOM! Hey! they are letting us email tonight and i am so excited. The mission is so fun. It is so hard. A lot harder than I could have ever anticipated. Especially norwegian :/ lolol but i just wrote my first lesson in norwegian today which is pretty cool. I have no idea what I am saying and it takes me like ten minutes to write one sentence but I am excited. My companion is awesome. I love her. We struggle together. Sometimes I want to come home a little bit but then I realize that I just want to be someone that heavenly father can rely on. So here I am.
